Recently, we welcomed Matthew Taylor, CEO of NHS Confederation, to our Innovation Hub and institute in the Park building to talk about the big challenges facing children and young people today, as well as innovative & practical solutions such as Little Hearts at Home and more.
Little Hearts at Home is a life-enhancing, clinically validated remote patient monitoring platform, connecting congenital heart patients in the community with their clinical teams. Reducing time in hospital and anxiety for families, through data-driven personalised care.
Matthew also met Dr Bimal Mehta, Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Director, Acute Medicine, to speak about tackling urgent care pressures for children and young people.
He also spoke with Nathan Askew, our Chief Nursing Officer, about experience and continuous Improvement among our workforce.
